Pricing

Pricing is truly unique for each piece. We’d love to talk to you about your project and give you a no-obligation, free quote. However, we know that having a general idea of cost can be very helpful.

Most of our custom bar tops have sold for $400-$700, depending on type of type of wood and finish. Our tables, on the other hand, retail for slightly more.

What Our Estimates Cover

Every time we agree to take on a project, we always send the customer an itemized estimate. We want our customers to know exactly what they can expect to pay before they ever decide to order.

These are several of the line items you’ll see on all of our estimates, and how they affect the bottom line.

Epoxy vs. other finishes

One of the biggest factors in final cost is the type of finish that our customer chooses.

We specialize in bartop grade epoxy, which is poured onto the surface of the wood and then forms a hard, glasslike finish. Once cured, this finish is waterproof, clear, glossy, and often 1/8″ – 1/4″ thick. Epoxy tends to cost about $15 per square foot.

Other finishes, on the other hand, tend to come at a much lower price point. For the same sized bartop, most of our customers would pay under $50 for a polyurethane or waxed finish.

Type of Wood

Price also depends on the type of wood the customer selects. Woods like walnut and pecan are more expensive. Maple and oak are slightly lower priced. Wood pricing depends on what local small mills have available from month to month, and prices vary.

Labor

Flattening and finishing slabs is very labor intensive. You’ll see the number of hours of labor we project for your project on your estimate. This is often the most expensive line item on your estimate, but our customers appreciate the time and craftsmanship we invest into each project.
